Weather Said To Be Contributing Factor In Accident Near Terril

November 23, 2014

(Terril)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says strong wind and icy roads contributed to a one vehicle accident near Terril earlier today (Mon.).

Authorities say 25-year-old Steve Blank of Mason City lost control of a 1999 Chevrolet van that left the road and went into the ditch.

The Terril First Responders and an ambulance were called to the scene, but Blank declined immediate treatment.

About three thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the van, owned by Speedee Delivery Services of St. Cloud, Minnesota.

The mishap was reported around 10:30 a.m.
