(Sibley)– A Sibley resident has been charged with domestic abuse in connection with an incident that allegedly took place Wednesday in Sibley.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a domestic abuse/assault call at 215 11th Street West. They say their investigation led to the arrest of 70-year-old Jackie Lee Hurd who was charged with domestic abuse. Hurd was booked into the Osceola county jail.
In a separate case, Osceola county authorities say they arrested a Sibley man Wednesday on a warrant for contempt of court.
28-year-old Chad Wollmuth was being held on a 500-dollar cash bond.
Authorities say Wollmuth was initially arrested for driving while suspended.
