(Spencer)– Clay county authorities are filing charges against two Arnolds Park men caught this week with meth making materials.
On Monday Spencer police received a tip from a retail business about a man purchasing meth precursors. Police pulled the suspect vehicle over and a search turned up cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine and other items used to make methamphetamine. The three passengers in the vehicle, James Handsaker, James Orris, both of Arnolds Park, and Jennifer Jones of Spencer were taken into custody.
Orris and Handsaker have been charged in Clay county with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture meth. Jones is charged with possession of marijuana.
As we reported earlier, Orris and Handsaker were charged with similar counts in Arnolds Park after a search of their trailer Tuesday allegedly turned up meth and meth making materials.
