(Emmetsburg)– The Emmetsburg and West Bend-Mallard school boards met in joint session Thursday evening to talk about potential sharing opporunities.
The session included a tour of the Emmetsburg High School building and discussion on curriculum and activities the schools offer in grades five through twelve.
Both boards agreed to meet again soon to tour the West Bend/Mallard facilities and discuss curriculum and activities offered by that district.
Declining enrollment has Emmetsburg and neighboring districts looking into the possibility of sharing academics and activities.
