Dickinson Supervisors Slash Comp. Board Recommendations

November 23, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson county’s elected officials will get a pay hike in the upcoming fiscal year, but it won’t be as much as the Compensation Board recommended.

The board of supervisors Tuesday voted unanimously to slash the Comp Board’s recommended salary hikes by 40 percent across-the-board…with the exception of the County Attorney’s salary. While no formal action was taken on that, the supervisors indicated they’ll set it at 50,170-dollars when they take official action making the position a full-time one.

The supervisors also Tuesday voted unanimously to set the mileage reimbursement rate for the upcoming fiscal year at 34 cents per mile, compared to 31 cents currently. The new rate takes affect March 1st.
