Terril Drug Bust Results In Charges Against Three People

November 23, 2014

(Terril)– The execution of search warrants this past weekend on two residences in Terril has resulted in drug charges against three people.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says Billy Tuttle of 302 South State Street was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Tuttle was booked into the Dickinson county jail.

Authorities say the second warrant was executed at Terril Apartments, number six. 29-year-old Michael Norton and 24-year-old Angela Norton were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael Norton was booked into the Dickinson county jail; Angela Norton was released on a promise to appear.

Authorities say the search warrants were executed as the result of a joint investigation by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Spirit Lake Police Department. The agencies were assisted by the Okoboji and Terril Police Departments.

Authorities say the case remains under investigation and more arrests are likely.
