(Terril)– Two North Dakota teens accused of stealing a car have been nabbed in Terril.
The Terril Police Department says it was notified by North Dakota authorities the teens purchased the car with a forged check in Mandan, North Dakota and took off with it. Tom Loebach of the Terril Police Department says they had reason to believe the teens were headed to Terril, where one of their relatives lives.
Loebach says the teens were located at Terril apartments unit six around 11:30 Saturday night where they were taken into custody. The car was found parked nearby, undamaged. The two males, ages 17 and 15, were taken to the YES Juvenile Detention Center in Cherokee. Loebach says charges are pending against the two.
The Terril Police Department was assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
