(Graettinger)– A drug charge has been filed against an Estherville man as the result of a traffic stop last Thursday in Graettinger.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies pulled over a vehicle when the driver failed to stop at a stopsign. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Charles Smith of Estherville, who was wanted on a warrant by Emmet county.
After placing him under arrest, methamphetamine was found in Smith’s possession.
Smith was charged with possesssion of a controlled substance and was booked into the Palo Alto county jail.
