Arrests Made In Osceola Co. Burglaries

(Sibley)– Osceola county authorities say they’ve made some arrests in a couple of burglaries in rural areas of the county in January.

Authorities have charged 18-year-old Devin Markus of Round Lake, Minnesota with two counts of burglary in the third degree, a class “D” felony; theft in the third degree, an aggravated misdemeanor; and one count of criminal mischief in the fifth degree, a simple misdemeanor.

A 16-year-old male juvenile from Round Lake has also been charged in the case. He’s been charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, a class “D” felony.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in its investigation by the Lyon county, Iowa Sheriff’s Office; the Nobles county, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office and the Worthington Police Department.
