(Arnolds Park)– A lakes area fire and rescue unit has been awarded a 19,800-dollar grant from the U-S Fire Administration and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Chris Youngbluth of the Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire and Rescue Unit says the money has been used to purchase a thermal imaging camera and a new self-contained breathing apparatus.
Youngbluth says the equipment will be on display during the department’s annual pancake breakfast Friday and Saturday, May 2nd and 3rd.
