(Des Moines)– State Representative Greg Stevens of Milford has been appointed to the Midwestern Legislative Conference’s Economic Development, Technology and Labor Committee for the 2003-2004 biennium.
Stevens was appointed by Iowa House Speaker Christopher Rants and House Minority Leader Richard Myers.
Stevens says technology will play an important part in the positioning of the midwest for the 21st century.
The annual Midwest Legislative Conference will be held August 24th through the 29th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Stevens has represented Iowa at the event the past couple of years.
