(Estherville)– Estherville police are looking for a man who tried to rob a woman at a bank earlier this week.
Authorities say the woman was makin a night deposit around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when she was accosted by masked man.
The woman had already deposited the money, and the robber didn’t get anything. The suspect fled on foot.
Estherville police and deputies with the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office attempted to track the suspect, but the trail turned cold.
The suspect is described as a white male, wearing dark clothing and a black bandana tied around his face.
