(Spirit Lake)– Drug charges have been filed against a Spirit Lake man in connection with an alleged incident early this (Monday) morning in downtown Spirit Lake.
Police say it started when an officer observed a vehicle that was improperly parked on Lake Street with a person standing beside it. While talking to the person, the officer saw a male subject walk up to the vehicle and allegedly put some alcohol in it. Upon further investigation, police took the suspect, identified as Terry Linn White, into custody and charged him with possession of a controlled substance, third offense; interference with official acts and possession of drug parpahernalia.
White was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The alleged incident took place around 1:45 this (Monday) morning in the area of Lake Street and Hill Avenue.
