(Spencer)– A Clay county man was arrested on several charges after an alleged incident at his residence Tuesday night.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 304 Boyden Street in Webb around 11:00 p.m. on a report of an assault.
Authorities say an investigation resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Timothy Elder, who allegedly started fighting with deputies as he was being taken into custody. No one was injured, and Elder was booked into the Clay county jail.
He was charged with domestic abuse assault and interference with official acts.
Elder was also wanted on four outstanding Clay county warrants for failure to appear for trial.
