(Worthington, Mn.)– An Ocheyedan woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident early Thursday in southwest Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 1989 Chevrolet pickup driven by 29-year-old Susan Vales of Ocheyedan and a semi tractor-trailer driven by 32-year-old Scott Haskell of Sioux Falls collided in a rear-end-type collision at the junction of Interstate 90 and Highway 60 in Worthington.
Vales and Haskell were transported to the Worthington Regional Hospital where they were treated for bumps and bruises and released.
Extensive damage was reported to the pickup driven by Vales and to a 2000 Freightliner semi tractor driven by Haskell. A 2000 International trailer it was pulling sustained moderate damage.
The mishap took place shortly before 3:00 a.m.
