(Spirit Lake)– A weapons-related charge has been filed against a Spirit Lake man in connection with an alleged incident early this (Mon.) morning.
Police say 23-year-old Jesse Hawk was charged with going armed with intent…a class “D” felony. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Spirit Lake police say they were called to the 1202 Fargo Avenue around 4:30 a.m. on a report of a male pointing a shotgun from a vehicle at another person.
Authorities say it appears the incident was related to a dispute involving a romantic relationship.
The motor vehicle that was involved was located later at a Spirit Lake residence.
