(Jackson, Mn.)– Five area teens sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Jackson county, Minnesota.
The Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Cory Hollander of Spencer was traveling on County Road four at the intersection with Jackson County Road 17 when he missed the turn-off to the Loon Lake Golf Course. Authorities say Hollander backed up and turned too sharp for the speed he was backing, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof.
Hollander and passengers in the vehicle, 18-year-old Kellie Nolan of Okoboji; 16-year-old Amanda Norris of Milford; 16-year-old Justin Wadsley of Spencer and 16-year-old Charles Fossum of Milford sustained minor cuts and bruises.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson Ambulance.
The mishap took place shortly after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
