(Fostoria)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of anhydrous ammonia from a local elevator.
Workers at the Westbend Elevator in Fostoria called the Sheriff’s Office this week to report that someone had stolen from anhydrous ammonia from one of their tanks. The tank even had a tube still attached that was used in the theft.
Approximately 70-dollars worth of ammonia was taken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 262-3221.
