Windom, Mn. Man Injured When Sign Goes Through Vehicle

(Jackson, Mn.)– A Windom, Minnesota man was injured Sunday evening in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 71 north of Jackson.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Curtis Yetter of Windom lost control of a 1995 Dodge that left the road and collided with a sign that went through the vehicle’s roof and windshield.

Yetter was taken by ambulance to the Windom hospital. He was later transferred to McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls with head injuries.

The vehicle he was driving sustained extensive damage.

The mishap took place around 7:45 p.m.
