One Person Injured In Three-Vehicle Crash West Of Milford

(Milford)– One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday evening west of Milford.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says vehicles driven by Stacey Adams of Milford and Byron Bergeson of Arnolds Park had stopped at the crest of a hill on 210th Street just west of the intersection with 190th Avenue when a third vehicle, driven by Eric Jensen of Milford, came upon the scene. The vehicle Jensen was driving slid, colliding with the right front side of the vehicle driven by Adams. Jensen’s vehicle then went into the south ditch where it rolled. Jensen was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. The extent of his injuries wasn’t known.

No other injuries were reported.

Damage to a 1978 Chevrolet driven by Adams was estimated at about a thousand dollars; no damage was reported to a 1986 Chevrolet truck driven by Bergeson; damage to a 1996 Chevrolet truck driven by Jensen was estimated at eight thousand dollars.

Bergeson was cited for stopping on the travelled portion of the roadway.

The crash took place around 5:40 p.m.

It was investigated by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Milford Police Department and Milford Fire and Rescue.
