Sheldon Man Pleads Guilty To Charge Related To Break-in At A Bar

(Sibley)– A Sheldon man has pled guilty to a charge related to a break-in at a bar in Ashton last year.

32-year-old Chad Herring pled guilty in Osceola County District Court last week to a charge of burglary in the third degree.

Herring was committed to the Iowa Department of Corrections for a term of no more than five years and was ordered to pay a 125-dollar fine.

Herring was charged in connection with a break-in September 26th of last year at Pete’s Bar in Ashton. He was accused of taking money, electronics and meat.
