Elections To NW Aging Association Board To Be Held In May

(Spencer)– Elections for board members of the Northwest Aging Association will be held the week of May 10th.

Elections this year are being held in Clay, Dickinson, Lyon and O’Brien counties.

Candidates running for the seat representing Dickinson county are Ray Miller of Spirit Lake and Irene Kruger of Lake Park.

The election in Dickinson county will be held May 11th. Polling places will be the Public Libraries in Lake Park, Milford and Spirit Lake.

In Clay county, polling locations will be the Everly Public Library on May 11th; the Dinner Date Site in Peterson May 12th; the Royal Dinner Date Site, Spencer Public Library and the Webb Public Library…all on May 10th.

In Lyon county, voting will take place May 12th at the Dinner Date Site in Larchwood; and May 13th at the Dinner Date Site in Little Rock and the Rock Rapids Public Library.

In O’Brien county voting will take place May 12th at the Public Library in Sheldon; the Public Libraries in Sanborn and Primghar and the Sutherland Dinner Date Site…all on May 14th.

Polls at all sites will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Board members serve two-year terms. The nine-member board is made up of one elected individual from each of the nine counties in Northwest Aging Association’s service area.
