(Milford)– Milford police have filed charges against a Florida man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
25-year-old Vincete Rosal Abad of Hialeah, Florida has been charged with five counts of sexual abuse of a child. All are class “C” felonies. Abad is being held in the Dickinson county jail on cash bond of 130-thousand dollars.
Charges are pending with the federal system.
Milford police say they received a report Thursday of a sexual assault on a child. The investigation resulted in authorities obtaining a search warrant that was executed on a residence at 1511 #23 Okoboji Avenue in Milford. It resulted in the seizure of several electronic devices and other items allegedly used in the assault.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
Milford police were assisted by the Arnolds Park and Hialeah, Florida police departments; Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office; U-S Postal Inspectors Office and the U-S Attorney’s Office.
