(Jackson, Mn.)– Authorities with the Jackson Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol say a special enforcement operation in conjunction with Jackson’s annual Town and Country Day Celebration netted 51 traffic stops and nine citations. Seven were for speeding; with one each for seatbelt and equipment violations. There was one arrest for driving after revocation. 33 warnings were issued for speeding; two warnings were given for equipment violations and nine warnings were issued for miscellaneous violations.
The special enforcement operation was conducted by six officers.
