(Estherville)– A local insurance agency is changing hands.
Jerry Block, who owns Great Lakes Insurance Agency of Lake Park, has purchased the North Iowa Insurance Agency…the insurance division of Bank Plus. The acquisition is effective this Friday, August 1st.
Block managed the agency the last three years.
He tells KUOO news both agencies will continue to operate under their present names, and he says customers should notice little in the way of changes.
Block adds no changes will be made to existing North Iowa Insurance policies, including coverage and terms, as a result of the change in ownership.
The North Iowa Insurance Agency has offices in Armstrong, Swea City, Graettinger, Lone Rock and Estherville.
