Former Sutherland Man Sentenced On Federal Meth Charge

(Sioux City)– A former Sutherland man has been sentenced on a meth charge in federal court.

38-year-old Kyle Peppers was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison.

Peppers pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to manufacture 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine.

During the proceedings, Peppers admitted he manufactured and distributed atleast 469 grams of actual or pure methamphetamine and atleast 1,701 grams of a methampehtamine mixture.

O’Brien county authorities executed a search warrant at Peppers’ residence in Sutherland on May 14th, 2001 that turned up items and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.
