Local Marina Is Set To Begin Expansion Project

Oak Hill Marina in Arnolds Park is starting a major construction project next week. Owner Phil Miklo says the current showroom building on Lake Minnewashta is too small. After the new two-story, 15,400 square-foot building is complete, the current showroom will be torn down to become a customer parking lot. Miklo became a partner in Oak Hill Marina in 1991 and he and his wife, Teressa bought the business in 1992. He says steadily increasing sales and additional product lines make the expansion possible. The current showroom at Oak Hill Marina has already been expanded twice in the past decade. The new building should be ready for occupancy next spring.
