(Gillett Grove)– A local school district has received a federal grant to assist in expanding internet and telecommunications capabilities.
The South Clay School District in Gillett Grove will get almost seven hundred dollars.
Nearly 190-thousand dollars is being awarded to five different school districts and education agencies throughout the state.
The grants are made possible through a service fee charged to companies that provide interstate and/or international telecommunications services.
