(Spirit Lake)– The Good Neighbor Fund of Spirit Lake and Okoboji is kicking off its fundraising efforts for the upcoming year.
This week has been designated “Good Neighbor Week” in the communities, as the campaign gets underway to meet this year’s goal of 71,300-dollars.
Over three thousand letters asking for donations are being sent to every household in Spirit Lake, Orleans and Okoboji and the surrounding areas seeking donations.
13 different organizations and agencies are benefitted by the Good Neighbor Fund.
