(Lake Park)– No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle rollover Sunday evening near Lake Park, but charges have been filed against the driver.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Wayne Blades of Merrill lost control as he was traveling on 110th Avenue at the intersection with 140th Street west of Silver Lake. Authorities say the vehicle struck a field drive and rolled in mid-air, landing upright.
Blades was charged with first offense operating while intoxicated and driving while under suspension.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage.
A juvenile beer party was reportedly going on in the area at the time of the crash, which took place around 7:00 p.m.
