(Milford)– The Milford Fire Department has been awarded a 7,500-dollar grant through the U-S Department of Homeland Security.
Milford is one of six departments in Iowa to be awarded funding through the latest round of grants.
The money is to be used for purchasing firefighting equipment, health and safety programs, to enhance medical services and for prevention and safety programs.
