Milford Teen Injured In Four-Vehicle Accident

(Milford)– A four-vehicle chain reaction accident late Tuesday afternoon in Milford sent one person to the hospital.

Milford police say 17-year-old Josh Tatman of Milford was traveling on 13th street a block west of the Catholic Church and had stopped for traffic to turn onto “N” Avenue when he was rearended by a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Rochelle Nappe of Milford. The vehicle Nappe was driving was struck in the rear by one driven by Terra Bradley of Milford. Her age wasn’t immediately available. The vehicle Bradley was driving was then struck in the rear by one driven by 16-year-old Adam Rickman, also of Milford.

Nappe was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. Her injuries weren’t believed to be serious. No other injuries were reported.

Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2,000 GMC pickup driven by Tatman; 800-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1996 Dodge driven by Nappe; a 1994 Pontiac driven by Bradley sustained an estimated 1,500-dollars in damage; and a 1994 Pontiac Rickman was driving sustained about eight thousand dollars in damage.

The mishap remains under investigation.

It took place around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
