(Spirit Lake)– Drug charges have been filed against three people in connection with searches Friday in Milford and Spirit Lake.
Authorities say the searches were conducted at 1408 “L” Avenue in Milford and at 2408 25th Street Lot 83 in Spirit Lake.
40-year-old Shelley Rae Willson of Spirit Lake was charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, which was enhanced to a class “D” felony for prior convictions; and keeping a dwelling for possessing or using a controlled substance…an aggravated misdemeanor.
Also charged was 36-year-old Scott Arlan Moss of Milford. Moss was charged with possession of methamphetamine…a serious misdemeanor; and frequenting a disorderly house.
And 26-year-old Brandon DeGoei of Sioux Center was charged with possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
All three were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Authorities say their investigation continues, and more arrests are possible.
The searches were conducted by five different lakes area law enforcement agencies.
