(Sioux Falls, S.D.)– Two northwest Iowa men have been arrested by police in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for allegedly making methamphetamine.
43-year-old Kelly Lyle Hollowell of Okoboji and 43-year-old Melvin Anthony Roth of Hartley were charged with possession of methamphetamine and attempted manufacture of methamphetamine. Both were booked into the Minnehaha county jail.
Sioux Falls police say they were alerted by employees of a department store about some suspicious purchases the two men were making.
Officers found the men near another store and pulled over their vehicle. Authorities searched the vehicle after a State Patrol K-9 Unit indicated there were drugs inside. The search turned up 48 boxes of pseudoephedrine, solvents, loaded syringes, 12 grams of methamphetamine and equipment used to make it.
