(Milford)– The owner of a lakes area water park wants to talk to the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum Board about a possible joint venture.
In a letter to the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum’s Board of Directors, Dr. Tim Cochran of Des Moines, owner of Boji Bay in Milford, asks the board if there may be a way for the water park to participate in “relevant discussions regarding the future of the Arnolds Park Amusement Park”.
In his letter, dated September 24th of this year, Dr. Cochran refers to Arnolds Park’s financial situation, saying “it’s evident the bottom line is little more than a get-by situation from year-to-year or at best trying to clean up expenses from the previous year”.
Cochran requests the Maritime Museum Board consider his letter and provide him financial updates so he can address the board.
The Maritime Museum Board has taken no action regarding the letter.
