(Spencer)– The Judicial Nominating Commission for the 3A Judicial District has nominated Nancy Whittenburg and Mike Zenor…both of Spencer…for the judgeship that will be vacated by the retirement of Judge Frank B. Nelson at the end of the year.
A total of 13 applicants were considered for the position.
Governor Vilsack has 30 days to appoint one of the nominees to the judgeship.
Judicial District 3A consists of Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola and Palo Alto counties.
