Spirit Lake High School Principal Resigns

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– A long-time Principal at Spirit Lake High School is calling it quits at the end of the current school year.

The School Board Monday evening accepted with regret the early retirement resignation of Sheryl Hall. Hall has been Principal at Spirit Lake High the past 11 years. Prior to that she was a Russian teacher at SLHS for seven years and spent a couple of those as Curriculum Director as well. Hall’s career in education spans 33 years…18 of those with the Spirit Lake schools.

Hall says it’s been a wonderful experience, but she feels it’s time for a change. Hall says she leaves with a wonderful collection of memories of students, staff and parents. She also complimented the parents and community for being so supportive of the schools.

Hall’s last day on the job as Principal at Spirit Lake High School will be this coming June 30th.

Superintendent Tim Grieves says they’ll start looking for a replacement in January.
