Four People Elected To Harris Council In Runoff Election

(Harris)– Four people were elected to the Harris City Council in Tuesday’s runoff election.

Robert Crist and Rose Lloyd were elected to two full terms while Phil Hibma and Donald Breems were elected to fill two vacancies.

Crist received 32 votes and Lloyd had 26 to fill the two full terms that were up. Other vote getters included Vic McKenna with 22 and Curt Harms with 21.

For the two vacancies, Hibma had 33 votes and Breems had 31. Other vote getters for the vacancies included Russell Meier with 22; Pam Kramer with 10 and Scott Robertson, a write-in, with seven votes.
