(Cleveland, Ga.)– The father accused of kidnapping his three children from Spencer last week is free from jail on bond.
32-year-old Keith Pardue was released from the White county jail Friday afternoon after posting a nearly 10-thousand dollar bond.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert Wednesday, December 10th, after Keith Pardue and his wife Samantha took their three children from her parent’s home in Spencer.
The next day, law enforcement in Cleveland, Georgia located the Pardue’s and the three children–12 year-old Starla, 10-year-old Ryan and six-year-old Skyla at a relative’s home.
Samantha Pardue died two days later while in custody in Georgia.
Keith Pardue will be brought back to Spencer to make his initial appearance in court to face a felony custody violation. A hearing date has yet to be set.
The three kids are back in Spencer with their grandparents.
