(Fairmont, Mn.)– A two-vehicle crash in Martin county, Minnesota has claimed the life of a Wisconsin man and injured two women from Estherville.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 87-year-old Leonard Olson of Iola, Wisconsin was killed when the vehicle he was driving was involved in a broadside collision with a sport utility vehicle. Olson was thrown from the pickup he was driving.
The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 43-year-old Terri Ann Russell of Estherville. She and a passenger in her vehicle, 68-year-old Ruby Carlson of Estherville, are hospitalized in Mankato.
Authorities say the crash took place around 1:40 p.m. Saturday at an intersection with Minnesota Highway 50 in Martin county.
