(West Okoboji)– The oath of office was administered Monday evening to the newest member of the West Okoboji City Council.
Jim Heitbrink ws elected to the council in last November’s municipal election. He fills a seat previously held by Orville Berg, who didn’t seek re-election.
Oaths were also administered to Mayor Howard Titterington and council members Marcia Peterson and Larry Traugher, who were re-elected last November.
The council approved the appointment of Mike Paxton to fill the unexpired term of councilman LeRoy Morton.
