(Luverne, Mn.)– A five-year-old child was injured Thursday in a vehicle/pedestrian accident in southwest Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 1989 Toyota pickup driven by 34-year-old Steven Meyer of Fenton, Iowa, collided with five year-old Cole Eidem of Luverne, Minnesota. Eidem was taken by ambulance to the Luverne Hospital and was transferred to Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls with head cuts.
No injuries were reported to Meyer.
The mishap took place shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Highway 75 north of Luverne.
