(Spencer)– The man that spurred a nationwide Amber Alert in December has been arrested again after trying to contact his children this (Mon.) morning in Spencer.
Spencer police were called to Johnson Elementary this morning after Keith Pardue of Cleveland, Georgia showed up at the school to talk to his children. Pardue is restricted from having contact with the children.
Pardue was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Dickinson county on failure to appear on a third degree theft charge.
He was unable to post the two-thousand dollar bond and was transported to the Dickinson county jail.
Pardue and his wife Samantha were charged in the kidnapping of their three children from their grandparent’s home in Spencer December 10th. A national Amber Alert was issued and the five were found the next day in Cleveland, Georgia unharmed.
Samantha Pardue died of a heart ailment a few days later while in police custody.
The three children are living with their grandparents in Spencer.
