(Spencer)– For the second time in less than two years, the Spencer school district is once again looking for a Middle School Principal.
Chris Yaw announced his resignation from the position last Monday, saying he wants to be a teacher and coach again. He’s accepted a position teaching math and biology at M-O-C Floyd-Valley High School in Orange City, where he’ll also do some coaching.
Yaw’s resignation is effective at the end of the current school year.
Spencer Superintendent Glenn Lohman says the search is already on for Yaw’s replacement. He says they’ll receive applications over the next two or three weeks, then narrow down the finalists for interviews.
