(Spencer)– A new attraction will be featured at the 2004 Clay County Fair.
Fair Manager Phil Hurst says they’ve signed on with a company that has sky rides at a number of state fairs throughout the country…including Minnesota and Iowa. Hurst says the company approached the Clay County Fair Board unsolicited with a deal they couldn’t turn down. Hurst says they’ve been working on the details the last two years, and they received a contract with the company for the 2004 fair this week.
Hurst says the Sky Glider ride will be constructed this summer. He says the ride will go 1,000 feet across the fairgrounds, giving fairgoers a birdseye view and a new way to get from one end of the grounds to the other.
