(Des Moines)– State Representative Greg Stevens of Milford announced today (Tues.) that he’ll seek a fourth term in the House of Representatives.
Stevens represents District six which includes Dickinson and part of Clay county, including Spencer.
Stevens says he decided to run again because he feels it’s important someone with experience be representing the area in Des Moines as the state’s budget woes continue.
Stevens says he’s proud of what he was able to accomplish during his first three terms, and looks forward to building on that. He says one of his goals is to create partnerships between state and local communities to create new, high paying jobs that will keep graduates in local communities.
Stevens, a Democrat, will be opposed by Mike May of Spirit Lake, a Republican.
