(Spirit Lake)– Hundreds of 4-H members from throughout the state converged Tuesday on the Statehouse in Des Moines.
Liz Smith is one of 10 Dickinson county 4-Her’s to make the trip. She says they delivered a message to lawmakers: don’t cut funding for 4-H and/or Extension programs.
There have been no indications so far that funding for 4-H and/or Extension programs could be on the chopping block. And Smith says they want to keep it that way.
