(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Endowment Fund is now accepting applications for its fifth round of grants.
The fund has received slightly more than 129-thousand dollars from state gambling revenues. State legislation requires 75 percent of that be awarded in grants and 25 percent be placed in a permanent endowment. As a result, about 100-thousand dollars will be awarded in the upcoming round of grants.

A grant writing workshop will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 10th in the meeting room at the Spirit Lake Public Library.
