(Brewster, Mn.)– A Storden, Minnesota man was seriously injured Sunday in a one-vehicle accident in Jackson county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 34-year-old Carlos Tijerina of Storden lost control of a 1990 GMC Suburban about two miles east of Brewster on Highway 60. The vehicle left the road and rolled. Authorities say Tijerina wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.
He was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital and was transferred to a Sioux Falls hospital with a broken leg and an amputated finger.
The vehicle was described as a total loss.
The mishap took place around 7:10 a.m. Sunday.
