(Arnolds Park)– Here’s another sign of spring: the ice has officially gone out of the Iowa Great Lakes.
Kirk Ewen of Arnolds Park says the ice went out on East Lake Okoboji Wednesday, March 26th and West Lake Okoboji on Thursday, March 27th.
Those dates are exactly the same as last year and on target with the average ice-out dates for the Iowa Great Lakes.
